The people in your neighborhood. Or, how I got my Leica M3
The daily email digest I get from my neighborhood Groups.io list serv is typically a pretty sleepy affair. I usually scan, delete, move on with my life.
Tokyo | 2024
Film and digital black & white photography, captured over two weeks of meandering the streets of Tokyo's vastness.
Vibe Check

New York City | 2024
While I was shooting in Manhattan, I was convinced that I was off my game, that my efforts were wasted. But I know better—just keep shooting, focus on doing the work, and push through the doubt.

California Built: Sea Ranch & West Hollywood
Two sets of architectural photography in one—a home in Sea Ranch, CA, and the Rudolph M. Schindler house (the MAK Center for Architecture) in West Hollywood, CA.
Back to basics: some photos & some music
On my regular bullshit this month. Some black and white images captured in the streets of San Francisco over the summer. And some music recos.
Street parked classics: random photos of cars
Practicality is affordable and predictable, and when it comes to cars, that’s really all I need. But that doesn’t mean I don’t pine from time to time for something more vintage and exotic. It’s too deeply ingrained in me.
Not Yet Enshittified
If you’ve spent any time online over the last 15 years using search, social, and e-commerce platforms, you’ve experienced enshittification. There are plenty of examples out there. I'm not one of them.
